Max Construction seeks a Project Superintendent who will be responsible for supervising day-to-day commercial field construction; completing work on schedule and within budget; and ensuring quality workmanship. He or she will be responsible for maintaining a constantly safe, clean and orderly work site. The superintendent will ensure all aspects of the project comply with all contractual terms, will obtain all inspections, and will document project progress daily.
Requirements
- Provide leadership to and establish/maintain good working relationships with customers and subcontractors
- Promote teamwork and positive morale
- Enforce company policies
- Read blueprints
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiently use email and other basic computer programs
- Be self-motivated, resourceful and keep the project on schedule
- Be willing to travel (company paid expenses)
- Possess high school diploma or GED
- Possess current driver’s license (subject to verification)
Desired Skills
- Understand project budgets
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial construction
- Ability to operate a forklift
